Which documents do I need to dive at ODC?

To book diving with the dive center:

Please mention the following information when you book your diving with us at Oman Dive Center.

• Intended dates for diving
• Type of dives requested - i.e. two-tank morning dive, early morning dive, night dive
• Your level of dive certification - i.e. SSI Open Water Diver
• Number of dives you have done so far
• Date of last dive
• Credit Card details - please kindly send us your credit card details (cardholder’s name, credit card number and expiry date) to secure the booking. In case of cancellations 48 hours before diving, a cancellation fee of 50% of the first day’s diving cost will apply. In the case of cancellations with less than 48 hours notice (last minute cancellations), the cancellation fee is 100% of the first day’s diving.

A medical statement of fitness for diving A medical statement of fitness for diving no more than 12 months old is compulsory for diving with Oman Dive Center. The standard diving medical form is available to download from this website in English, in German, in Italian or in French
Please note that in case of asthma or diabetes, only a certificate from a specialist in these particular diseases will be accepted, not one from a “normal” doctor.


Please note that divers should wait at least 12 hours after flying before diving and 24 hours after diving before flying.

To check-in at the dive center:

Please bring along the following items when checking in at the dive center.

• Booking confirmation - either a voucher from your tour operator or copy of a direct confirmation from Oman Dive Center
• Personal dive certification cards
• Medical Statement - to be filled in, signed and stamped by your physician prior to arrival at the dive center. Please use the standard medical forms available to download from this website in English, in German, in Italian or in French
